A Passion For Justice, Our Practice Areas

Prof. DR. C. Rajalakshmi has more than 24 years of experience of teaching law both to UG and PG students. She did her Master of Law in Property Law and Doctor of Philosophy in IPR in TNDALU. She was working as a Principal at Government Law College, Theni, from July 2021 and retired on May 2023. At the outset, she joined Government Law College, Madurai, as a Lecturer in law (Senior scale) in 1998 and after being elevated to the position of an Associate Professor, she continuously served there till 2021. She was called to the Bar in the year 1987 and served as an advocate till 1991. On her own merits, she has held various academic positions during her tenure, such as Academic Senate Member of TNDALU, Chief Examiner, Editor in chief for Magazine and NSS Programme Officer. Besides, she has authored a book titled “Land Laws of Tamilnadu”.

She obtained her Bachelor of Law (Five Years Integrated Degree Course) at Government Law College, Tirunelveli and LL.M in the branch of Taxation Laws in The TN Dr. Ambedkar Law University (School of Excellence in Law) Chennai. She cleared her UGC-NET and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. (Law) as a part-time research scholar in the Saveetha School of Law, Chennai. She has worked as an Assistant Professor of Law at Saveetha School of Law, Chennai. She worked as an online tutor in various institutions. She was appointed Chief Superintendent of Examinations on her own merits for the Academic Year 2022-2023. She has organized numerous national seminars and workshops, as well as a national level online quiz competition, an online essay writing competition, and an online memorial writing competition. She has also carried out numerous public outreach campaigns. She has also participated in many Faculty development Programmes. She has published nearly 14 Articles in National and International referred, peer-reviewed / UGC Approved/ U.G.C CARE Approved/ SCOPUS indexed journals. Her areas of interest are Taxation Laws, Family Law, and Commercial Laws etc.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Law at Government Law College Tirunelveli and has Master’s degree in Taxation Law from Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (CBCS, School of Excellence in Law) and he has bachelor’s degree in English Literature from TNOU. He is currently pursuing PhD at Saveetha School of Law, Chennai. He practised as an advocate in the High Court of Madras. He worked as a guest lecturer in law at Government Law College in Ramanathapuram. He has presented research papers in various National and International Seminars, and Conferences and he has attended many workshops and has published research articles in various law peer-reviewed journals. He coordinates the activities of the STLC Moot Court. His areas of interest include Taxation Law, Contract Law, Law of Crime, Civil and Criminal Laws.

Mr. K. Rajesh Kumar has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law with a specialization in Taxation Law from The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. He is pursuing his doctorate degree in Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University, Trichy. He worked as a Guest Lecturer in Law for four years in Government Law College, Ramanathapuram. His area of specialization is Taxation Law and his areas of interest include Constitutional law, Law of Crime and Interpretation of Statutes. Besides, he has coordinated the activities of the Moot Court. He has presented research papers in various National & International Seminars and has attended Conferences & Workshops and has published articles in various law peer- reviewed journals.

He did his Master of Arts and Master of Philosophy in English Literature at M. S. University and has a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCTE) in Teaching of English from English and Foreign Language University (EFLU), Hyderabad. He has possessed academic credentials of more than 10 years. He has presented research papers, both in National and International Conferences, such as ‘The Triangular Relationship between Literature, Law and Technology’ and ‘Digitalization and The State of Indian Farmers’ are notable among them. Besides, he has trained the students for TNPSC and IBPS competitive examinations. As a language trainer, he has conducted online classes for students and professionals of various levels.

He has got his Bachelor of Commerce from PAS College and he did his Master of Public Administration and Master of Political Science at University of Madras. He did his Master of Philosophy at University of Madras. He has passed State Eligibility Test (SET) and has more than 7 years of experience of teaching Political Science and Public Administration both to UG and PG students. He has published more than 30 research articles both national and international. At the outset, he worked as a Guest Lecturer in Political Science in Government Arts College (Autonomous), Salem. He was the Head of the department (HOD), Department of Public Administration in Apollo Arts and Science College, Chennai. Besides, he has been the Coordinator for NAAC and IQAC. His areas of interest are Comparative Government, Legislative Procedure and Public Affairs. He was handling classes and training the students for Civil Service examination for more than five years.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree BA, B.L, from Government Law College, Tirunelveli. She completed her master’s degree in Government Law College Tirunelveli with a specialization in Constitutional Law and Human Rights. She was called to the Bar in the year 2018 and practised as an advocate in Tirunelveli district Court and Tenkasi District Court. She has published more than three research papers. Her areas of interest are Family Law, Intellectual Property Law, Constitutional Law, Company Law and Human Right Law.

She has got her Bachelors of Arts from S.F.R. College for Women Sivakasi and she did her Bachelor’s degree in law at Government Law college Tirunelveli and she has a Master degree in Business law from Government Law college Coimbatore. She practised as an Advocate in Coimbatore District Court. She worked as a document reviewer in I Bridge Business Service LLP in Tirunelveli. She worked as an Assistant Professor in Law for one year in the Prist school of Law, Madurai, her area of specialization is Business Law and her areas of interest include Contract law, Banking law, Intellectual Property Right, Insurance Law, Constitutional law, Law of Crime and Law of Evidence, Law of Torts, Company Law and Women and Law Besides, she has coordinated the activities of the Moot Court and Case Commentary Drafting. She has presented research papers in various National & International Seminars and has attended Conferences & Workshops and has published articles in various law peer- reviewed

He is working as an Assistant professor of Economics, at Thangapazham Law College, vasudevanallur. He has obtained MA in Economics from Thiagarajar College, Madurai. He holds Master of philosophy in Social science from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar National institute Social science at Mhow, Indore. He has completed Doctor of philosophy in Economics at Madurai Kamaraj University, He has passed TNSET 2017 in Economics. Having the research experience in GATS- India Survey, He has done UPAI Study at International institute of population science Mumbai. and also has done TNHSP Project at National institute of Epidemiology ICMR Chennai. He has published two articles. He has presented ten research papers in National Conferences, two in international Conferences.

She is working as an Assistant Professor in Law. She has blended academic knowledge with practical experience. Swathika earned her B.A.LL.B. from Chennai Law College and her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the School of Excellence in Law. With insights gained from navigating Matrimonial Laws at the Madras High Court, she transitioned to academia fuelled by her passion for teaching. Her area of specialization is Intellectual Property Law and her area of interest also includes Family Law and Labour Law.

She holds a B.E. degree and later pursued her LL. B (HONS) from the School of Excellence in Law. She further specialized in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law by completing her master’s degree and successfully cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in June 2023.   

Beyond academics, she was actively participated in National Conferences, including one held in Raipur, and was recognized as the Best Speaker in a seminar conducted by Government Law College, Ramanathapuram. She is well-versed in attending workshops and approaches her work with dedication and precision, ensuring high academic and professional standards.

She holds a B.A., LL. B, degree from Government Law College, Dharmapuri, and pursued her LL.M in Labour Law and Administrative Law from Government Law College, Tiruchirappalli. 

She has a keen interest in legal writing and publishing scholarly articles. Additionally, her practical experience in court practice enhances her teaching methodology, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal field. She has also actively participated in conferences and seminars conducted by Periyar University, Salem, further expanding her academic and research expertise. 

Blending technical expertise with legal acumen, Mr. Gowtham S holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering before transitioning into law. He earned his LL.B. from Government Law College, Tirunelveli, and pursued his LL.M. in Business Law at The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai – School of Excellence in Law.

With hands-on experience in Criminal Litigation, Gowtham began his legal practice as a Junior Advocate in Ambasamudram. Simultaneously, he gained expertise in registration and documentation. His role encompassed legal drafting, court representation, and client consultation, reinforcing his dedication to delivering effective legal solutions.

His primary areas of interest include Corporate and Business Law, Investment and Securities Law, and Dispute Resolution.

He has a Masters in Economics and an M. Phil from Presidency College, Madras. He has a Special Higher Computer Training Programme at ELCOT, a government-funded institute in Tamil Nadu. He is a resource person in the field of teaching. His research papers published in national and international journals/conferences are his main feature. He has in-depth knowledge and special emphasis in law and economics. He is about to complete his PhD in Economics from Madurai Kamaraj University and his research work on “Global Status of Indian Defence Expenditure in G20 Countries”.

He completed his B.A., B.L. degree at Government Law College, Tirunelveli, and went on to pursue his LL.M. at The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. He has worked as a Guest Faculty at Government Law College, Ramanathapuram, for over six years, contributing to legal education with dedication and academic excellence.

Mr. Ajay Sundar obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) [B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)] with a specialization in Business Law and Constitutional Law from Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, Chennai. He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a specialization in Labour Law and Research and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Privacy Law at Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS.

Before joining S. Thangapazham Law College, he served as an Assistant Professor of Law at Anandam Law College, Thanjavur, where he also acted as a Moot Court Coordinator, guiding students in developing their advocacy and research skills. He has also practiced as an Advocate at the High Court of Madras and other District Courts across Tamil Nadu, gaining valuable professional and practical exposure in various branches of law.

Mr. Ajay Sundar has presented numerous research papers and published six papers in indexed law journals. He has also participated in several national and international seminars, conferences, and Faculty Development Programmes. During his undergraduate studies, he was recognized as the Academic Topper (2020) and was an active moot court participant, securing the title of Best Speaker and winning three moot court competitions at Saveetha School of Law.

His areas of expertise include Business Law, Constitutional Law, Labour Law, Privacy Law, Land Law, and Banking Law. He has successfully completed 11 basic certification courses in various fields of law, further strengthening his academic and practical understanding of legal concepts.

Mr. Ajay Sundar is deeply committed to legal education, research, and advocacy, striving to inspire his students through a blend of theoretical understanding and practical insight.

With a solid foundation from the School of Excellence in Law, where she completed her BBA.LLB (Hons), Mrs. T. Vishali brings a wealth of knowledge to the academic world. Her master’s degree in Labour and Administrative Law from Government Law College, Tiruchirappalli, further deepens her expertise in these critical areas. Driven by a passion for justice and a desire to educate. Beyond her academic achievements, her experience practicing at the Tenkasi District Court and the Sankarankovil Judicial Magistrate Court provides a practical dimension to her teaching. As a judicial aspirant, she has a profound understanding of legal intricacies, which enriches her instruction in subjects like Labour, Criminal, Environmental, and Constitutional Law. Her true passion lies in teaching, where she is dedicated to shaping future legal minds.
