Thiru K. Subramania Nadar – Vadivoo Ammal Educational Trust was founded in 2010 by Thiru S. Thangapazham, with support from his son Thiru S. T. Murugesan, to uplift rural education. The Trust aims to provide quality higher education to students in educationally backward areas.
S. Thangapazham Law College was established in 2022–2023 in honor of Thiru Thangapazham’s parents. The college is approved by the Bar Council of India and affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. Its core mission is to provide globally competitive legal education.
Our Mission
Mr. S.THANGAPAZHAM who founded the Trust is a successful entrepreneur. He is running THANGAPAZHAM SUPERMARKET is a successful business unit. He is the Chairman of S. T. Group of Institutions, running three more educational Institutions which are well known for the quality of education in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu.

- Being the Secretary of a Committee School for the past ten years, he took efforts to make the Committee School upgraded as an aided school.
- Basically, he is a farmer for four decades and introduced new techniques in the cultivation of lemon, mango, and paddy.
Thiru S. T. Murugesan gives great support to his father in establishing the Trust. He is a leader with foresight and integrity. His vision is to provide quality education and uplift the students of this region, especially from rural areas. He strives to educate the economically backward people and offer them easy access to higher education while building confidence to achieve success in their chosen fields.
Thiru S. Thangapazham runs the Trust as Chairman and Thiru S. T. Murugesan as Secretary, sharing a strong commitment to excellence in every endeavor. With this noble vision, responsibility, and prudence, our esteemed Secretary has established and developed the institution “S. Thangapazham Law College (STLC)”, affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.
Prof. DR. C. Rajalakshmi has more than 24 years of experience of teaching law both to UG and PG students. She did her Master of Law in Property Law and Doctor of Philosophy in IPR in TNDALU. She was working as a Principal at Government Law College, Theni, from July 2021 and retired on May 2023. At the outset, she joined Government Law College, Madurai, as a Lecturer in law (Senior scale) in 1998 and after being elevated to the position of an Associate Professor, she continuously served there till 2021. She was called to the Bar in the year 1987 and served as an advocate till 1991. On her own merits, she has held various academic positions during her tenure, such as Academic Senate Member of TNDALU, Chief Examiner, Editor in chief for Magazine and NSS Programme Officer. Besides, she has authored a book titled “Land Laws of Tamilnadu”.
